As a self-taught designer, I began experimenting with digital design tools early on during downtime in middle school art class. The intersection of usability and aesthetics in various aspects of our everyday lives has always intrigued me. I love thinking holistically.
After graduating from The University of Texas with a degree in biology and working with young learners, I realized I thrive when ideating and iterating to inspire and creating clarity out of complexity.
I focus on UX strategy and design as well as research have been most recently experimenting with new evidence-based strategy tools at Macmillan Learning that foster connection and enable instructors to be successful. I would love to continue to create experiences that have an impact in the classroom (and beyond!).
When I'm not designing, you can find me (still kind of designing and) baking and decorating cakes, listening to audiobooks on long walks, resistance training, planning my next travel itinerary, and occasionally doing some photography and art.
